Wedding Coordinator Duties
Fleur de Lis Chapel provides a Wedding Coordinator
for the day of your ceremony and rehearsal.  
This will help assure you and your guests that everything will run smoothly, stress-free, and make your
wedding day an enjoyable experience.

Wedding Coordinator Specific Duties


Assisting with etiquette and protocol for ceremony and rehearsal.
•
Creating a time line for your ceremony.
•
Coordinate your ceremony rehearsal
by working with you to organize your requests.
•
Reminding bridal party of all pertinent instructions
at rehearsal and day of ceremony.
•
Acting as the liaison with your-family, bridal party, musicians,
florist, photographer, minister, and other vendors at ceremony.
•
Pin white aisle runner down center aisle for bridal party entrance.
•
Scatter rose petals down aisle when brought by bride
•
Drape decorative rope across center aisle
to prevent usage before bridal party enters.
•
Placing “Reserved Seating” signs on appropriate pews.
•
Ensure the bride and bridesmaids have their bouquets.
•
Assist mothers, grandmothers, and ladies with pinning of their corsages.
•
Assist gentlemen with pinning on of their boutonnières.
•
Placement of unity candles in holders
and pre-lighting, to ensure ease of lighting during ceremony.
•
Set up of greeting table with flower arrangement at entrance, and placement of items to be used such as:
guest book, pen, programs, maps/directions…
•
Placement of additional wedding items brought by bride:
signature photo on easel, sand ceremony items, rose ceremony items…
•
Set up communion table for ceremony and place items brought by bride.
(ie: wafers, goblets, juice/wine)
•
Coordinating your ceremony by lining up the bridal party,
cuing music and bridal party when to walk down aisle.
•
Placement of rose petals and bubbles on table
to be given to guests for Grand Exit.
•
Sounding of the bell tower at Grand Exit.  
•
Gathering ceremony items brought by the bride and groom,
into one location at the close of their wedding.
•
Picking up rose petals left in the chapel or on chapel grounds at the conclusion of the ceremony.
